I think that mysterious things happen in familiar places. We don’t always need to run to the other end of the world. I like ambiguity in a photograph. I like it when one is not certain of what one sees. When we do not know why the photographer has taken a picture, and when we do not know why we are looking at it, all of a sudden, we discover something that we start seeing. I like this confusion."

La réalité manifeste m’ennuie, ce qui me fascine est de la transformer en un point de vue subjectif. Sans interférer avec mon sujet, je veux arriver au moment où, par la pure concentration du voir, l’image composée devient « plus faite que
prise ». Sans légende pour justifier son existence, elle parlera d’elle-même : moins descriptive que créative, moins informative que suggestive, moins prose que poésie.
